The people building the world's most advanced AI systems are becoming more vocal about its risks. As researchers from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google DeepMind publicly debate safety, alignment, and control, a new question is emerging: can governance keep pace with capability?

Palo Alto Networks CEO Nikesh Arora says roughly $1 trillion of cybersecurity infrastructure was built for a pre-AI world.
